How it works: pick a game, then press its big Start button. On an iPad the controller appears on screen: D-pad on the left, A B C on the right, Start in the middle. On a keyboard the arrows are the D-pad, Z X C are A B C, A S D are X Y Z, Enter is Start and V is Mode. Real gamepads work too. The menu at the bottom of the game has save states, fullscreen, volume and controller settings. Saves live in this browser.

Your own cartridges: tap Add a cartridge and pick a .bin, .md, .gen, .smd or .zip file of a game you own. It is copied into this browser's own storage on this device, not to the internet, and shows up under My cartridges from then on. To get a file onto the iPad, AirDrop it from a Mac or save it to iCloud Drive, then pick it from Files. If you add this page to the Home Screen, iPad Safari keeps the cartridges and saves for good; in a normal tab it may clear them after a week without use.
